Scripture Memorization
The blessed person of Psalm 1 is the one who meditates on God's Word day and night. And in 2024 we are going to be emphasizing meditating on and memorizing weekly "Fighter Verses" to help us fight the good fight of faith. February Fighter Verse Challenge:
To encourage Fighter Verse memorization for the month of February, we are going to have a draw with some prizes at the end of the month. Each week in February that you memorize one of the Fighter Verses (1 Thess. 5:14-17, 1 Thess. 5:18-22, Prov. 3:9-10, Prov. 3:11-12, John 10:27-30) you can put your name into the draw and at the beginning of March we will draw several names for prizes!
Small Group Bible Study
This fall we have a number of Bible Studies running. Please contact Joanne Brock for more information about the following studies:

- Sr Girls Bible Study (Gr. 7-10)
Prayer Corner Contact Update
Lansing has a "Prayer Corner" prayer list that cycles through all the names of regular attenders at Lansing so that different families and children get prayed for from week to week. (Scroll to the bottom of this email to see it) If you have been attending Lansing and would like to have your family included on that this, please email lansingbaptist@gmail.com the names of all those in your family - including your children if you have children. Names are only included in these emails, they are not posted on social media or on our website.

Playgroup
Do you have children aged 6 or under? Our Children, Our Future will be using the Lansing building for a neighbourhood playgroup for young families on Tuesday, February 6th and Tuesday, February 13th from 9:30am-12:00pm, and anyone from Lansing is welcome to attend. No sign up necessary.
